Bench Pull
From $1,995
To $2,277
Rows with full range of motion. ACTUAL full range.
Bent rows are argubly the staple upper body pulling exercise. But they're not perfect - they can put the lower back in a vulnerable position, and it's common to see bent rows shifting to upright rows as the set goes on.
Adding a bench for support eliminates this problem, but introduces a new one. The range of motion sucks.
Recognising this, we experimented with a number of variations to develop a bar that provides the best of both worlds.
The final product allows you to lie flat, being fully supported. 280mm handles provide plenty of room for the Bench Pull Bar to be pulled up to the Bench without being impeded, providing full scapular retraction.
Alternative bars such as Swiss Bars and Fat Bars can also be stored for more variations.
Other similar benches on the market have no capacity for racking a barbell, and rely on either the athlete to be able to reach down from the bench to the floor to grab the barbell, or requires boxes/accessories to raise the barbell to a suitable height. The Iron Edge Bench Pull removes these issues entirely, simply set the J-hooks to the desired height and you’re good to go. Regardless of your height or body positioning, you'll find that sweet spot. To keep your Bench Pull and bar looking fresh for years to come, we've also included an HDPE strip on the underside of your bench just in case.
Fitting Olympic-sized plates on to the zinc plated sleeves is smooth and seamless, meaning you can get started on your set quicker than ever before. The gap between the handles measures 420mm, allowing plenty of clearance on either side of the bench to protect the hands from jamming between the bar and the bench.
Created from the ground up from 3mm thick steel, the bench has no fiddly moving parts that can become stuck or wear causing issues down the track. Weighing in at over 90kg, the bench does not require bolting down, but does have the option to if desired.
Whether it is for balancing heavy pushing volume, targeting the upper back specifically or rehabilitation of a shoulder girdle injury, the Iron Edge Bench Pull is more than just a high bench. It is a fully self-contained, heavy duty piece of artillery to help you and your athletes achieve their goals.
