The Outdoor Iron Edge Chin-up bar has been zinc plated prior to powder coating. This makes the bar 100% corrosion resistant so it can be installed outside and withstand the elements.
The Iron Edge Wall Mounted Chin-Up Bar is unique. It’s not just a horizontal bar that you happen to be able to do chin-ups on. It’s been designed specifically for elite facilities that can be used in any gym with the correct walls (concrete ideally, or solid brick).
For starters the bar has been bolted directly to the support frame so there is no movement or play. By extending 90cm out from the wall there is plenty of room for even the tallest guys to kip. It will withstand an incredible 400kg, so kip and swing away!
It's also the only prefabricated bar that you can keep extending seamlessly along a wall for multiple users. Great for group settings or large gyms.
Further proof of this bar’s bona fides is the finish. Forget slippery, chalk resistant chrome or gloss bars. Instead we give it a textured matte black powder coat for optimal grip, doubling as a protective coating to resist knocks and scratches.

- This will depend on how sheltered the bar is and the amount of wear, but we have a 5 year anti-rust guarantee
- Can this be mounted to the ceiling
- Provided there’s a strong and stable surface, yes. This can be mounted to the ceiling just like a wall. The depth from the base to chin up bar cannot be changed though

- Ideally concrete, but brick can also be used depending on its structure (solid preferred rather than hollow)
