Raise the Bar started with a small site in Windsor and has since evolved into something much bigger.
But let’s rewind to where it all began. Josh has been in the industry a long time. He’s seen it all when it comes to training equipment. And now, at the peak of his business, he chooses Iron Edge. Why?
In the past, Raise the Bar went with what some might call the "cheaper option." But as Josh discovered, "cheaper" doesn’t always mean better value.
Over time, that gear broke down, caused more issues, and didn’t deliver the performance needed to keep members happy. The real cost? Replacing equipment, dealing with faults, and managing avoidable frustrations. None of it is worth it when what you really need is gear you can trust.
We asked Josh what he thinks now, and we think you’ll agree with what he has to say.

"It's been great working with Iron Edge and being able to see everything in 3D while building it, moving machines around and making everything fit. Advice I'd give others setting up a similar gym is just to go for quality right from the start. I've made the mistake in the past of using other brands and had to replace that equipment. If you want to do it right, right from the start, get good quality stuff, go with Iron Edge."
