We received this email and thought it was a story worth sharing with you...

Hello Rick,

I read your email around your donation to aid in the recovery after the floods which prompted me to send this email. I have been working doing community recovery in the helidon/grantham region at the base of the Toowoomba range - words can not do the scene justice, nor describe the impact that this event has had on the small communities that reside there.

I have a mate in Brisbane who is in the meat business, his office is at Rocklea where Queenslands main fruit and vegetable distribution centre is (check these places out on the net - they all were hit hard), all his stock and office equipment destroyed - he arrived by boat to do his initial assessment.

Debris strewn everywhere, many items washed away, everything else thrashed about by the water - almost. As he looked over the remains of what was once a thriving small business supporting four families and tried to decide what to do, where to start - he found something to laugh about which helped him put a new spin on things.

So he called me to tell me his story because he knew I would understand, not because I live in Toowoomba and watched cars get washed down main streets, not because of the work I did in the aftermath in Helidon where they are still searching for bodies. It was because of the way of training I introduced him to some years ago.

There was only one item my mate managed to rescue from his office, that he found sitting where he left it waiting for his return.  One of his trusty 'old style' kettlebells purchased through your company (I bought it for him around three years ago) that he kept at his office to crank out a few swings when the moment presented itself.

Everything else destroyed, gone, washed away, but his kettlebell remained steadfast, waiting to return to action. I though you might like to hear that story, in an age where things no longer are built to last, one of your products defied flood waters that have devestated a whole state.

Take care - Simon.

p.s - I look forward to purchasing 'the bomb - good work!
