When Athletes Authority approached us last year to build a 'fantasy factory for athletes', we knew we were in for a treat.

Regarded by many as the leaders in private-sector athlete development and strength and conditioning, they had a very specific brief:

With their brief in our hands, we got to work tailoring a custom gym fit-out that we hoped wouldn't just meet their high expectations but blow them out of the water.

To meet that goal, the first solution we had to get right was their flooring.

They asked us to challenge the idea that excellent quality flooring, which looked the part, needed to come at a price tag that most gym owners wouldn't be able to afford.

We had a solution that would meet the brief -- our new 20mm React Flooring Solution.

Sporting a unique design, our React tiles lock together, creating a seamless flooring solution that gives the illusion that they're rubber rolls with all the convenience and flexibility of rubber tiles.

No install costs or future make-good costs when you need to pull it up.

The next step was the Custom Turf. How could we honour their signature feature in their Sydney location here in Melbourne?

Our engineering created a custom-branded, one-piece solution spanning a whopping 4m by 15m.

Not only does this command attention, but it's functional too -- with a compliant rubber underlay, aggressive plyometrics, jumps, and cuts feel as natural as the ground outside.

Lastly, we rolled out our extensive range of equipment into the space.
